[Connection for CHAP certification]

① Open the open-iscsi set-up file “/etc/iscsi/iscsid.conf”and set up the CHAP

certification. Follow the below instructions. (The CHAP certificate password

must match the password set up for the iSCSI service on the LG Network

Storage webpage.)

discovery.sendtargets.auth.authmethod = CHAP

discovery.sendtargets.auth.username = inAdmin

discovery.sendtargets.auth.password = password set up (Target Secret)

node.session.auth.authmethod = CHAP

node.session.auth.username = outAdmin

node.session.auth.password = password set up (Initiator Secret)

② Activate open-iscsi.

$ /etc/init.d/open-iscsi start

If the open-iscsi was already activated, restart.

$ /etc/init.d/open-iscsi restart

③ The rest of the procedures are the same as for [Connection to a Linux PC].
